HITT Country Programme Leader: Cambodia and Vietnam.
- Managed the HITT project in Cambodia and Vietnam. Duty Station: Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
- Responsible for project managing country teams to deliver training to informal sector beneficiaries, including women and youth, targets of 1 300 beneficiaries in Cambodia and 1 500 beneficiaries in Vietnam in diverse occupations such as homestay operator, local guide, tourist driver, housekeepers, waiters, and room attendants.
- Technical support in materials development and design, and delivery of training of trainers as Global Master Trainer.

Evaluation of Higher Education institutions and programs for the Hospitality industries through Sertec, SAQA and HEQC.
- Facilitating curriculum development within formal education (Technikons and High Schools) for these chamber
- Networking and liaison with both industries, including addressing conferences, and writing journal articles.
- Advising Industry and training providers, both private and public, on training needs and requirements, as well as quality assurance and accreditation matters.
- Other duties as required by THETA and the Skills Development Act.

National Advisor: Training Provision.
- Contributed to the development and implementation of National Qualifications of competence in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework. This included framework development, assessment development, training of assessors, assessment, and quality assurance of NQ Assessors nation-wide within the Hospitality Industries.
- Other duties included contribution to the evolution and development of the NQF.

Lecturer
- Initially in the post of food technician, then becoming a lecturer at the Cape Technikon School of Hotel and Catering Studies.
- Subjects taught included: Food Service Management II and III, Nutrition and Hygiene, Food Practical and Theory II and III, Food and Beverage Theory and Practical.
